Amends the wolf-dog cross regulation law (2000 PA 246) to update definitions used throughout the statute.

Defines key terms including "animal control officer," "animal control shelter," "expert on wolf-dog cross identification," "facility," and "law enforcement officer" with specific qualifications and categories.

Specifies that an "expert on wolf-dog cross identification" must have at least 10 years of cumulative training and field experience in wolf and wolf-dog behavioral and morphological characteristics and be recognized at state and national levels.

Defines "wolf-dog cross" as any canid resulting from breeding a wolf with a dog, a wolf-dog cross with a wolf, a wolf-dog cross with a dog, or a wolf-dog cross with another wolf-dog cross.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment and is contingent upon House Bill 6205 of the 99th Legislature being enacted into law.
