Amends the 1994 Ferret Law (PA 358) to update definitions and regulatory language in Section 1 (MCL 287.891)

Defines key terms including "accredited veterinarian," "breeder," "hobby breeder," "ferret" (Mustela furo), and "official interstate health certificate" for ferret importation and exportation

Establishes that a hobby breeder may own 4 or fewer ferrets at least 6 months old or temporarily house a litter less than 5 months old for personal recreational purposes and breed improvement, provided they register with a national ferret registry organization

Specifies requirements for official interstate health certificates issued by accredited veterinarians, including complete consignor/consignee information, ferret description, examination date, and health status certification

Takes effect 90 days after enactment, contingent on House Bill 6205 of the 99th Legislature also being enacted into law
