Expands embezzlement statute to include cryptocurrency as "money or personal property" that can be embezzled under Michigan Penal Code Section 174.

Defines cryptocurrency as digital currency using encryption techniques to regulate generation of units and verify transfer of funds, operating independently of a central bank.

Maintains existing embezzlement penalties based on value of property embezzled, ranging from misdemeanor (under $200) to felony (various tiers up to 20 years imprisonment for $100,000 or more).

Adds enhanced sentencing provisions allowing consecutive imprisonment for felony embezzlement when victim is a nonprofit/charitable organization, person age 60+, or vulnerable adult.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment.
