Amends the Michigan Code of Criminal Procedure (1927 PA 175) to modify sentencing guidelines in Chapter XVII for specific felonies under Chapters 400-407 of the Michigan Compiled Laws.

Revises MCL 400.60(2) regarding welfare fraud by changing language from "over $500" to "or more" in the offense description and maintaining Class H felony status with 4-year statutory maximum.

Modifies MCL 400.607 Medicaid fraud provisions by narrowing application to subsections (5), (6), (7), and (8) only, and reclassifies 400.607(5) from Class G to Class E felony with increased statutory maximum from 4 to 5 years.

Adds new offense categories for tiered Medicaid fraud based on claim amounts: $1,000-$20,000 (Class E, 5 years), $20,000-$50,000 (Class D, 10 years), $50,000-$100,000 (Class C, 15 years), and $100,000 or more (Class B, 20 years).

Takes effect 90 days after enactment and is contingent on passage of House Bill No. 6496 or Senate Bill (unspecified number) from the 99th Legislature.
