• Allows pregnant and postpartum prisoners (within 12 months of birth) to breastfeed and express breast milk with access to pumps, storage containers, and refrigeration.

• Permits pregnant prisoners to access doula services and allows a cleared support person to be present during delivery along with the doula.

• Requires annual training for correctional facility employees on these pregnancy-related provisions and mandates notification of a designated contact person about medical appointments, hospitalizations, labor, and delivery.
