Declares April 25, 2018, as Suits and Sneakers Day in Michigan to raise awareness about cancer and support the Coaches vs. Cancer program.

Recognizes the Coaches vs. Cancer initiative, a collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches that has raised more than $87 million since 1993.

Notes that more than 57,000 Michiganders are expected to be newly diagnosed with cancer in 2018 and acknowledges the physical, emotional, and financial challenges cancer patients face.

Encourages lawmakers and all Michiganders to wear suits with sneakers on this day to promote cancer awareness, educate about nutrition and physical activity, and advocate for cancer patients and survivors.

Urges all Michiganders to use the day as an opportunity to learn about cancer prevention and obtain appropriate health screenings.
