Declares June 2, 2018, as National Trails Day in Michigan to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the National Trails System Act and Wild and Scenic Rivers Act passed in 1968.

Recognizes Michigan's significant trail resources, including nearly 1,200 miles of the 4,600-mile North Country National Scenic Trail and 27 designated National Recreation Trails totaling 592 miles.

Acknowledges trails and green infrastructure as economic engines that create jobs, increase property values, reduce medical costs through exercise promotion, and generate tax revenue.

Directs copies of the resolution be sent to the Michigan Trails and Greenways Alliance, North Country Trail Association, Partnership for the National Trails System, Governor Rick Snyder, relevant state and federal agencies, and Michigan Congressional Delegation.
