Recognizes Dianda's background as a lifelong Upper Peninsula resident, small business owner, former Village of Calumet trustee and president, and former president of Michigan State Employees Association, AFSCME Local 5.

Credits Dianda's work on natural resources, business, and recreational issues, including service as minority vice chair on Tourism and Outdoor Recreation and Regulatory Reform committees.

Notes his participation on Energy Policy, Natural Resources, and Transportation and Infrastructure committees where he helped pass legislation benefiting small businesses and disabled veterans.

Directs that copies of the resolution be transmitted to Representative Dianda as evidence of the House's gratitude.
