Permits motor vehicles to be equipped with up to 2 side cowl or fender lamps emitting amber or white light without glare.

Allows up to 1 running board courtesy lamp on each side of a motor vehicle emitting white or amber light without glare.

Authorizes backing lights of red, amber, or white on vehicle rear if controlled by reverse gear switch, with unlighted lights covered to prevent glare.

Prohibits flashing, rotating, or oscillating lights except for authorized vehicles including police, fire, ambulance, emergency responders, utility vehicles, wreckers, funeral processions, and public transit vehicles under specified conditions.

Effective August 21, 2017; violations of subsections (1) through (4) constitute civil infractions.
