Amends the 1996 Tourist-Oriented Directional Signs Act to define requirements for eligible tourist attractions that may have directional signs on rural roads

Limits eligible attractions to those within 10 miles of the rural road unless the department permits otherwise

Requires eligible attractions to comply with federal standards under 23 USC 131 if advertised by rural road signs

Defines tourist-oriented activity as a lawful cultural, historical, recreational, educational, or commercial activity that attracts 2,000+ annual visitors, with majority income or visitors from non-local motorists during normal business season

Takes effect September 5, 2017
