• Amends Michigan Vehicle Code section 722 to add exemptions from seasonal weight restrictions for septage waste vehicles operated by licensed individuals addressing emergency septic failures.

• Septage waste vehicles may exceed seasonal load limits during March, April, and May if the operator notifies the county road commission and travels at speeds not exceeding 35 miles per hour on restricted roads.

• Requires notification to county road commission as soon as practical when emergency septic work may cause vehicles to exceed loading maximums and gross vehicle weight requirements.

• Defines "emergency septic failure" as various conditions including sewage discharge to ground or surface water, system inability to accept sewage, structural failures, system absence, non-compliant treated wastewater discharge, illicit connections, or effluent accumulation in tank.

• Effective 90 days after enactment into law.
