Establishes the "Pay Equity in the Workplace Award Program" within the Michigan Department of Civil Rights to encourage employers to eliminate pay barriers and equalize compensation between men and women performing comparable work.

Requires the Director of the Department of Civil Rights, in cooperation with the Governor's office, to develop benchmarks for model practices and eligibility criteria for employers to receive the award.

Mandates eligibility criteria include that employers have made substantial efforts to eliminate pay equality barriers and have demonstrably decreased pay disparities between men and women performing comparable work.

Directs the Department to establish procedures for nomination, application, and award presentation at a ceremony designed to recognize achieving employers and encourage other employers to adopt similar pay equalization practices.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment into law.
