Sets licensing fees of $230 for application processing (reduced to $75 after the department recoups up-front costs), $54 annually for full licenses, and $50 annually for temporary licenses.

Prohibits unlicensed individuals from using titles such as "genetic counselor," "licensed genetic counselor," "gene counselor," or related designations indicating genetic counseling licensure.

Requires temporary licensed genetic counselors to work under the supervision of a qualified supervisor at all times while practicing genetic counseling.

Exempts individuals certified by the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics as medical geneticists and other licensed health professionals acting within their scope of practice from genetic counselor licensure requirements.
