Requires the Michigan Department of Education to provide information to school districts, intermediate school districts, and public school academies upon request regarding available career and technical education programs within a reasonable timeframe.

Mandates the department compile and post on its website best practices information including successful programs, types of career and technical education available statewide, partnerships with businesses and colleges, and how to embed Michigan merit standard requirements into career and technical education.

Requires school boards to ensure students receive information about fulfilling education requirements through career and technical education and provide analysis of in-demand occupations in their region, with occupation data supplied by the Department of Technology, Management, and Budget.

Directs the Department of Technology, Management, and Budget to publish and distribute in-demand occupation analysis to schools by September 1 each year.

Encourages schools to establish programs where completion credits toward professional certificates, training, apprenticeships, or college credit in career and technical fields upon high school graduation.
