Allows school districts and public school academies to notate a pupil's transcript or diploma with a STEM endorsement upon completion of specified credit requirements in grades 7-12.

Requires pupils to earn at least 6 mathematics credits, with at least 5 credits in courses listed in Michigan merit standards or covering equivalent content, including precalculus or calculus.

Requires pupils to earn at least 6 science credits, with at least 4 credits in courses listed in Michigan merit standards or covering equivalent content.

Requires pupils to earn at least 1/2 credit in technology activities and at least 1/2 credit in engineering activities, which may be obtained through separate courses or integrated with mathematics and science coursework.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment, effective September 26, 2018.
