Department of Education shall categorize school services into five categories: core instructional courses, noncore instructional courses, extracurricular activities, support activities, and course materials.

Core instructional courses are ineligible for purchase using education savings accounts unless the student's foundation allowance has been exhausted.

Public schools complying with section 1210 of the Revised School Code are eligible to receive payments from the program, and the Department may designate other organizations providing instructional courses, activities, and materials as eligible providers.

Department shall establish and maintain a dedicated internet website within one year containing course load requirements, course descriptions, and enrollment/payment mechanisms for eligible services.

Bill takes effect only if Senate Bill 544 of the 99th Legislature is enacted into law.
