Requires professional land surveyors to record certified copies of surveys with the county register of deeds when lands are surveyed under the land division act or when permanent corners are monumented.

Mandates filing of survey copies within 90 days after delivery to the client for surveys describing parcels in conveyances of title or leases lasting one year or more.

Specifies survey map requirements including 8-1/2 by 14 inch durable white paper, nonfading black ink, scale of no more than 500 feet per inch, and a signed certificate from the licensed professional surveyor.

Requires survey maps to include relative positional precision of corners, exterior boundaries, distances and bearings, street and easement widths, water boundary measurements, and a properly oriented north arrow.
