Allows the Department of Natural Resources to record a corrective deed when it previously issued an erroneous deed conveying state land in which the state held no interest.

Requires the Department of Natural Resources to issue a certificate of correction stating the state has no title to the lands and that the certificate removes any cloud on title caused by the original or corrective deed.

Mandates the register of deeds record the corrective deed and certificate of correction in the county where the lands are located.

Sets the recording fee for the certificate of correction equal to the fee charged for recording a real estate mortgage under MCL 600.2567.

Effective date: September 18, 2018 (90 days after enactment on June 19, 2018).
