Adds section 1283 to the Michigan Revised School Code encouraging school districts, intermediate school districts, and public school academies to contract for integrated student supports through external community-based organizations.

Requires contracted integrated student supports to be provided in partnership with external organizations and school staff, with goals of improving coordination of services, acting as liaison with other organizations, and enhancing communication between schools and families.

Stipulates that integrated student supports should use evidence-based models proven to increase student achievement and include community school strategies that address academics, health and social services, youth development, and community engagement.

Defines integrated student supports as wraparound services designed to promote academic achievement by addressing both academic and nonacademic barriers to learning, including assessments, site-based staff placement, staff training, and service linkages.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment into law.
