Updates Michigan's criminal sentencing guidelines in Chapter XVII of the Code of Criminal Procedure to reference felonies related to firearms, weapons, and public safety violations.

Adds or modifies entries in the sentencing guidelines table for MCL Chapter 28 offenses, including violations related to state identification documents, concealed firearm permits, fireworks safety, and sex offender registration.

Adds or modifies entries in the sentencing guidelines table for MCL Chapter 750 offenses, including firearm-related crimes such as sale to prohibited persons, possession by felons, discharge from vehicles, carrying concealed weapons, and use while impaired.

Changes terminology from "pistol" to "firearm" in several offense descriptions to broaden the scope of regulated weapons.

The bill does not take effect unless Senate Bill No. 934 of the 99th Legislature is enacted into law (tie-bar provision).
