Telemedicine services remain subject to all policy terms and conditions, including copayments, coinsurances, deductibles, and approved amounts.

Permits telemedicine to establish physician-patient relationships and includes asynchronous store and forward actions (transmission of patient medical information for review without real-time interaction) as a valid telemedicine method.

Defines telemedicine as use of interactive audio-visual or other telecommunications technology by healthcare professionals to deliver health care services, including prescriptions, between distant and originating sites.
