Amends the Community College Act to modify the nominating petition filing deadline for community college board of trustee candidates from the fifteenth Tuesday before the primary election to 4 p.m. of the fifteenth Tuesday before the primary election.

Requires nominating petitions to contain between 250 and 500 signatures of registered school electors from the appropriate trustee district.

Maintains the requirement that candidates must be at least 18 years old and be electors residing in the trustee district they seek to represent.

Limits the number of candidates nominated at the primary election to no more than 2 per trustee district.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment and was approved by the Governor during the 2018 regular session of the Michigan Legislature.
