Prohibits mental health professionals from engaging in conversion therapy with minors.

Defines "conversion therapy" as practices seeking to change an individual's sexual orientation or gender identity, including efforts to change behavior, gender expression, or reduce same-gender attractions or romantic feelings.

Excludes from the definition counseling that supports gender transition, provides acceptance and support for sexual orientation or gender identity, facilitates coping and identity exploration, addresses unlawful conduct or unsafe practices, or does not seek to change sexual orientation.

Subjects mental health professionals who violate this prohibition to disciplinary action and licensing sanctions for unprofessional conduct under the Public Health Code (1978 PA 368, MCL 333.16221 and 333.16226).

Takes effect 90 days after enactment.
