Expands Michigan Penal Code Section 81d to add pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to the list of individuals protected from assault, battery, wounding, resistance, obstruction, opposition, or endangerment while performing their duties.

Establishes tiered felony penalties: up to 2 years imprisonment or $2,000 fine for basic assault; up to 4 years or $5,000 fine if bodily injury requiring medical attention results; up to 15 years or $10,000 fine if serious impairment of body function results; up to 20 years or $20,000 fine if death results.

Allows employers of protected persons to post warning signs at their properties stating it is a felony to assault or endanger those individuals while performing their duties.

Defines "obstruct" to include use or threatened use of physical interference, force, or knowing failure to comply with lawful commands.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment into law.
