Amends the definition of "wine" to include cider made from apples or pears containing at least 1/2 of 1% alcohol by volume.

Expands the definition of "wine" to include mead, honey wine made from honey, and fermented fruit juices other than grapes.

Adds mixed wine drinks to the statutory definition of wine under Michigan's alcoholic beverage control act.

Becomes effective only if Senate Bill No. 1156 of the 99th Legislature is also enacted into law.

Effective date: December 19, 2018.
