The Coaches vs. Cancer Program, a partnership between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches, raises awareness through events like "Suits and Sneakers" where coaches wear sneakers with game attire while coaching.

Since 1993, the Coaches vs. Cancer program and supporters have raised more than $87 million for cancer services and programs.

Senate supports efforts to raise awareness of the fight against cancer and continuation of partnerships that promote cancer prevention through nutrition and physical activity.
