Recognizes July 2018 as Craft Beer Month in Michigan.

Acknowledges Michigan's craft brewing industry, which includes more than 300 craft brewers statewide operating as community-based small businesses and employing more than 14,000 workers.

Highlights that Michigan ranks fifth nationally for overall number of breweries, microbreweries, and brewpubs, and that craft brewers contribute over $600 million in labor income with a total economic contribution exceeding $2 billion.

Notes that Michigan craft brewers support local agriculture by purchasing hops, malted barley, wheat, beet sugar, cherries, apples, and other fruits, herbs, and vegetables grown in the state.

Commends Michigan craft brewers for providing quality jobs, contributing to local tax bases, supporting community institutions and philanthropic causes, and promoting responsible beer consumption.
