Notes his election to the Senate in 2010 and 2014 representing the Thirtieth District, where he served as Majority Floor Leader during his first term and Senate Majority Leader during his second term.

Acknowledges his legislative work on workers' rights, environmental protection, road funding, Detroit Public Schools revitalization, teacher retirement systems, tax relief, and economic growth.
