Adds section 478b to the Michigan Penal Code making it a misdemeanor to intentionally use professional position of authority to prevent or attempt to prevent reporting of alleged sexual assault, harassment, or related crimes to a Title IX coordinator at a postsecondary educational institution.

Penalty for violation is imprisonment for not more than 1 year, a fine of not more than $1,000, or both.

Applies to alleged violations of section 136b, sections 520b to 520e, or section 520g (sexual assault and related offenses under Michigan law).

Defines "postsecondary educational institution" as a degree- or certificate-granting public or private college, university, junior college, or community college located in Michigan.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment into law.
