• Allows individuals to transfer their multi-state bar examination scaled score from another state or territory when applying for Michigan bar admission, provided the exam was taken within 3 years before their Michigan exam attempt.

• Requires the transferred multi-state score to be combined with the essay portion grade earned in Michigan, and the combined score must meet Michigan's passing grade requirement.

• Limits score transfer eligibility to states and territories that provide reciprocal rights allowing Michigan residents to transfer their Michigan multi-state scores for admission elsewhere.

• Requires the Michigan Board of Law Examiners to disclose transferred multi-state scores to applicants as soon as received, regardless of whether that score would have been released in the originating jurisdiction.

• Clarifies that good moral character determination for bar admission is made solely by the Board of Law Examiners and is not subject to 1974 PA 381 (the Consumer Protection Act).
