Prohibits mental health professionals from engaging in conversion therapy with minors in Michigan.

Defines conversion therapy as practices seeking to change sexual orientation or gender identity, including efforts to alter behavior, gender expression, or romantic attractions toward same-gender individuals.

Establishes that violations subject mental health professionals to disciplinary action and licensing sanctions for unprofessional conduct under sections 16221 and 16226 of the Public Health Code.

Excludes from the conversion therapy prohibition counseling that supports gender transition, provides acceptance and support, facilitates identity exploration, or addresses unsafe sexual practices without seeking to change sexual orientation.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment.
