Prohibits licensees and registrants from performing pelvic examinations on anesthetized or unconscious patients without prior written informed consent, with limited exceptions.

Requires licensees and registrants to ensure that health profession students do not perform pelvic examinations on anesthetized or unconscious patients during training assignments.

Permits pelvic examinations on anesthetized or unconscious patients only when: (a) written informed consent is provided for the examination; (b) the examination is within the scope of a surgical or diagnostic procedure previously consented to; (c) the patient is unconscious and incapable of consent but the examination is medically necessary; or (d) a court orders the examination for evidence collection.

Applies to all health care licensees and registrants under the Public Health Code.
