Prohibits insurers delivering or renewing health insurance policies in Michigan from requiring face-to-face contact for services appropriately provided through telemedicine.

Requires telemedicine services be provided by a health care professional licensed, registered, or authorized in the state where the patient is located.

Telemedicine services remain subject to all health insurance policy terms including copayments, coinsurances, deductibles, and approved amounts.

Defines telemedicine as use of electronic media linking patients with health care professionals in different locations via secure, HIPAA-compliant interactive audio or video telecommunications, or store-and-forward online messaging.

Expands the definition of "insurer" to include nonprofit dental care corporations operating under 1963 PA 125, effective December 31, 2017.
