• Requires the enterprise portfolio management office in the department to submit quarterly reports on all executive branch information technology projects to legislative appropriations committees, fiscal agencies, and the state budget director, with reports posted online.

• Reports must include active projects and projects completed within the preceding 2 years, covering details such as client department, project status, budget variances, schedule delays, project name, purpose, and origination source (state mandate, federal mandate, court order, or department initiative).

• Reports must contain specific data points including initial and revised budgets, actual costs, planned and actual completion dates, customer satisfaction ratings, quality assurance assignments, and project success scores after closure.

• Requires summary statistics showing the total number and percentages of completed projects that exceeded initial budget, missed scheduled completion dates, or exceeded both budget and schedule compared to all completed projects.

• Effective immediately upon governor's approval (October 8, 2020).
