Amends the Michigan Nursing Scholarship Act (2002 PA 591) to update definitions related to eligible nursing employment and programs.

Changes references to the Public Health Code from MCL 333.22260 to MCL 333.21925 in three locations defining eligible healthcare facilities where nurses can work to qualify for the scholarship.

Adds "professional" to the definition of "registered nurse" in two places where eligible employment is defined.

Expands the definition of "eligible employment" to clarify that registered professional nurses and licensed practical nurses can work full-time or part-time (if section 7 applies) in specified hospital departments, nursing homes, hospices, health facilities, and home health care agencies.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment and is contingent on Senate Bill No. ____ or House Bill No. 5510 being enacted into law.
