Amends section 17 of the Continuing Care Community Disclosure Act to update references to the Public Health Code from MCL 333.22260 to MCL 333.21925 throughout the statute.

Exempts continuing care communities licensed under the Public Health Code or Adult Foster Care Facility Licensing Act from rules that would interfere with residents' access to common areas, subject to care and supervision needs.

Allows continuing care communities to request variances from applicable licensing rules if the rule unnecessarily segregates residents and the variance does not create health or safety risks.

Clarifies that temporary room and board with personal care services (during illness recovery or while awaiting appropriate housing) does not constitute a home for the aged or adult foster care facility.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment and is contingent on Senate Bill No. ____ or House Bill 5510 being enacted into law.
