Establishes that a lease or license is not created when a social guest or social licensee occupies residential property for less than 30 days if the property owner is also present on the property.

Allows a property owner to request a social guest or licensee to vacate without initiating formal legal proceedings such as summary eviction under the Michigan Revised Judicature Act; the guest or licensee becomes a trespasser upon request to leave.

Clarifies that no lease or license is created for social guests or licensees occupying property for longer than 30 days or when the owner is not present on the property.

Defines "social guest" and "social licensee" as individuals invited onto property for non-business or non-commercial purposes with express or implied permission of the owner or person in control of the property.
