• Updates procedural language in MCL 380.619 and 380.1107 by replacing "shall" with "must" for consistency with current drafting standards.

• Maintains the existing 3-year ineligibility period for any person removed from office, preventing them from being elected or appointed to a school board or intermediate school board during that time.
