Expand emergency license eligibility to individuals with personal protection orders or those where a county sheriff determines clear and convincing evidence exists that the person's safety is endangered, waiving the standard 6-month residency requirement.

Require emergency license applicants to complete pistol training within 10 business days and apply for a regular license within the same period or the emergency license becomes invalid.

Remove references to switchblades (section 226a) from the list of misdemeanor convictions that disqualify applicants from receiving concealed pistol licenses.
