• Amends Section 28 of the Stille-DeRossett-Hale Single State Construction Code Act (1972 PA 230) to establish which laws supersede the construction code.

• Specifies that provisions of the construction code inconsistent with the Michigan Fireworks Safety Act (2011 PA 256) regarding retail sale of consumer and low-impact fireworks are superseded.

• Clarifies that the construction code does not repeal, amend, or affect powers and duties under environmental protection, public health, occupational safety, skilled trades regulation, workers' compensation, and prevailing wage laws.
