Establishes the "Voting Leave Act" requiring employers with one or more full-time employees to grant leave for voting in elections regulated under Michigan election law.

Employees who lack 3 or more consecutive non-working hours while polls are open may request paid leave to vote, capped at 2 hours per election day.

Employees must request voting leave at least 1 business day before the applicable election day.

Employers are prohibited from taking retaliatory personnel actions or discriminating against employees for exercising voting leave rights.

Employees may bring civil actions against employers for violations and recover the greater of actual damages or $500 per violation.
