Apply the gender-neutral language to partnerships established since January 10, 1942, recognizing spouse partnerships as valid partnerships.

Update archaic and grammatically outdated language throughout Section 6, including changing "heretofore" to present tense constructions and "shall" to "applies."

Modernize language regarding limited partnerships to clarify the act's application except where limited partnership statutes conflict with it.

Bill takes effect only upon ratification of Senate Joint Resolution ____ or House Joint Resolution T (request no. 02690'19) as part of the Michigan Constitution of 1963.
