Changes the term "husband" to "spouse" in the Surrogate Parenting Act definition of surrogate parentage contract to make the language gender neutral.

Applies to contracts where a female agrees to conceive a child through natural or artificial insemination by a person other than her spouse, or agrees to surrogate gestation.

Takes effect only if Senate Joint Resolution _____ or House Joint Resolution T (request no. 02690'19) of the 100th Legislature becomes part of the Michigan Constitution as provided in section 1 of article XII of the 1963 state constitution.

Maintains existing definitions in the Surrogate Parenting Act regarding compensation, developmental disability, intellectual disability, mental illness, participating parties, surrogate carriers, and surrogate mothers.
