Amends section 309 of the Uniform Child-Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act (MCL 722.1309) to make language gender-neutral regarding spousal privileges and parent-child immunities.

Changes the phrase "of husband and wife" to "as spouses" in provisions that prevent spouses from invoking privilege against disclosure of communications or immunity based on their relationship.

Preserves all existing substantive law regarding child custody enforcement, including requirements for court orders, registration procedures, and grounds for refusing enforcement.

Becomes effective only upon passage of Senate Joint Resolution _____ or House Joint Resolution T (request no. 02690'19) of the 100th Legislature as a constitutional amendment under Article XII of the 1963 Michigan Constitution.
