• Defines "face covering" to include face masks, face shields, and respirators used to cover the nose and mouth for sanitary purposes.

• Voids and renders unenforceable any municipal ordinance, resolution, or policy adopted on or after the effective date that violates the prohibition on face covering requirements.

• Applies to all governing bodies at the local level with authority to enact ordinances and policies.
