Adds offense variable 35 to Michigan's criminal sentencing guidelines, allowing courts to reduce an offender's offense variable score based on trial testimony against a codefendant.

Permits a 5-point deduction from the offense variable score if the defendant testifies against a codefendant at trial and both the prosecutor and judge agree the testimony was helpful in securing the codefendant's conviction.

Permits a 10-point deduction if the defendant testifies against a codefendant, both officials agree the testimony was helpful in conviction, and the prosecutor files a motion requesting the deduction.

Offense variable 35 must be scored after all other offense variables (1-20) have been scored and only when applicable to the facts of the case.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment.
