• Amends 1945 PA 109 regarding county hospital acquisition, construction, and equipment contracts to change references from "board of supervisors" to "board of commissioners."

• Modifies public notice requirements for bids exceeding $500.00: through December 31, 2021, counties must publish notice in newspapers at least 2 weeks before bid deadline; beginning January 1, 2022, counties must post notice under the local government public notice act.

• Authorizes the county board of commissioners to adopt reasonable rules and regulations for advertising bids and letting contracts, with reserved right to reject any and all bids.

• Requires contracts to specify that work and material purchases are subject to approval by the county board of commissioners or a designated committee.
