• Amends sections 5805, 5823, and 5825 of the Public Health Code to streamline eligibility for children's special health care services by adding references to section 5474 (children reported for lead exposure).

• Children identified as reported to the department under section 5474 are automatically considered medically eligible for services and exempt from medical investigation requirements.

• Changes language in section 5825 from "upon completion" to "on completion" of medical investigation and adds "if applicable" to clarify the investigation may not be required for certain children.

• Effective only if three companion bills (HB 5359, HB 5360, and HB 5364) from the 100th Legislature are also enacted into law.
