• Authorizes local health officers to exclude individuals from schools, group residence programs, or camps if they lack proof of immunization for a communicable disease or are suspected to be susceptible to it, provided the health officer confirms or suspects a communicable disease risk exists.

• Applies exclusion authority when a local health officer confirms or reasonably suspects an individual attending school or group programs has a communicable disease with spread risk, or when community spread risk exists for a disease with available vaccine.

• Requires exclusions to remain in effect until the local health officer determines there is no further risk of communicable disease spread.

• Mandates the Department of Health to inform the public of immunization rules through mass media and by posting them on the department's website.

• Effective date: 90 days after enactment into law.
