Authorizes the ombudsman to investigate potential violations of local, state, or federal law related to public schools and provide findings to interested parties and the superintendent.

Allows parents, legal guardians, pupils, teachers, school districts, intermediate school districts, and public school academies to submit requests for assistance with concerns and grievances through forms prescribed by the office.

Requires school districts, intermediate school districts, public school academies, their boards, and employees to cooperate with the ombudsman's investigations and provide all requested information subject to state and federal privacy laws.
